Russia continues to use older military technology for several reasons. First, it can be more cost-effective to maintain and upgrade existing equipment rather than investing in new, more expensive technology. Second, some older equipment may still be effective in certain combat scenarios. Additionally, Russia's military industry has a long history of producing and maintaining older equipment, and there may be a preference for familiar and reliable technology. Finally, geopolitical and economic factors may also play a role in the decision to continue using older military technology. **

The Russians did not have excellent military technology like the Germans because they were not as industrialized and technologically advanced as Germany. Russia was still largely an agrarian society with a less developed industrial base, which limited their ability to produce advanced military equipment. Additionally, the Russian military was also hampered by outdated tactics and a lack of modern training, which further contributed to their technological inferiority compared to the Germans. **

There are several specific types of military units in the military, including infantry, artillery, armor, special forces, and support units. It depends on the specific military service and the individual's circumstances. In some cases, military personnel may be granted leave to go home on weekends, especially during basic training or for special occasions. However, this is not guaranteed and is subject to the needs of the military and the individual's responsibilities. Additionally, some military personnel may be stationed far from home, making it more difficult to travel home on weekends. Ultimately, the ability to go home on weekends during military service varies and is determined by the specific circumstances and policies of the military branch. **
